In 1949, Noel Merrill Anderson established Merrill Manufacturing Company with his groundbreaking invention of the AnyFlow Yard Hydrant. Our yard hydrants are designed to prevent water backflow in well or irrigation systems, and can be utilized in both vertical and horizontal positions.

Key features of our yard hydrants include a valve body and poppet made from high-quality no lead brass, a Delrin guide bearing for the poppet stem in the check valve for smooth and noise-free operation, as well as a corrosion-resistant stainless steel spring and lock nut. Additionally, an abrasion-resistant O-ring is precisely fitted to the poppet for a secure seal into a tapered self-cleaning valve seat.

The yard hydrants have a working pressure of 200 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 190 F (87 C). Available in various connection sizes and types, such as 1-1/4 in. x 1-1/4 in. female NPT, the yard hydrants are constructed from no lead brass and are lightweight for easy installation.
